The Annual Sports Event at RNS Evening College was successfully conducted on September 27 and 28, 2024, fostering enthusiasm, teamwork, and competitive spirit among students. The event featured Cricket and Football as outdoor sports, while Chess, Carrom, and Badminton were played indoors.





Cultural Events
The Cultural Event at RNS Evening College was successfully held on September 23 and 24, 2024, exemplifying creativity, collaboration, and cultural pride. The vibrant celebration showcased an eclectic mix of activities, including the Groupie Competition, Cooking Without Fire challenge, Group Dance, and an engaging Treasure Hunt.








Report on Yuvamanthan Model United Nations(YMUN) 2024
In alignment with Viksit Bharat 2047 and in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), RNS Evening College, Bengaluru organized the Yuvamanthan Model United Nations (YMUN) on April ,22 2024. The event themed “Lifestylefor Environment”, aimed to engage participants in discussions and negotiations no finding sustainable solutions to environmental challenges through adopting mindful lifestyles.
The event was inaugurated by Prof. Ravivarma P, Principal of RNS Evening College. In his inaugural address, he emphasized the importance of engaging the youth in global dialogues on critical issues and applauded the initiative for providing a platform for young leaders to develop leadership and problem-solving skills. The YMUN was coordinated by Prof. Sachin MJ, Department of Commerce and organized by Prof. N Raghavendra, Prof Kumar V, Prof. Manjunath Nayak along with Student Secretariats who worked tirelessly to create an immersive and enriching experience for the participants.
The YMUN provided a dynamic platform for students to role-play as delegates representing various Continents such as Asia, Africa, Europe and North America. They debated and formulated creative resolutions on various agenda related to environmental sustainability, climate change, and responsible consumption patterns. After extensive debates and consultations, the resolution drafted by the General Assembly reflected the diverse view points and commitments made by the delegates, paving way for a collaborative effort towards promoting sustainable lifestyles and mitigating the impact of environmental degradation. Through this immersive experience, the student delegates gained invaluable insights into the complexities of global environmental challenges and the role of international cooperation in finding lasting solutions.
In addition to their representation as delegates of different Continents, students had the opportunity to play the roles of Secretariats and Press Corps, adding an extra layer of realism and complexity to the proceedings. At the end of the event, the students who performed extremely well were awarded. Ms. Srividya Balaji emerged as the Best Delegate and Ms. Sanjana N won the Certificate of Merit.
The event offered a unique opportunity for the youth to experience the dynamics of international diplomacy, negotiations, and decision-making processes within the framework of the United Nations. It aimed to foster a sense of global citizenship and encourage the young minds to take an active role in shaping a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
